Learn To Die

Are you afraid of death ?

I’ve had a fear of death for as long as I can remember. Maybe it comes from an intuitive feeling that I’d die at a young age or maybe it’s pure paranoia. But it’s a real monster that lives in my head. Not only have I been afraid to experience my own death but to grieve those around me. The root problem was obvious, I have a hard time letting go. I understood I had to do something to conquer this fear. I intentionally seeked ways to experience ego-death.

Through ego-death I became acquainted with the illusion of the self and began cultivating a spiritual foundation. A foundation that would conquer that monster. The unknown is scary but doesn’t have to be. Putting myself in positions to experience death before physically dying has been key. It’s been essential to tame that monster and actually make friends with it.

Becoming familiar with the process of trusting & letting go is something we all must exercise. If you practice letting go you’ll have a much easier time transcending into the afterlife. We signed up for this bitter sweet experience called life. We like to daydream and pretend everyone around us will be here forever. Deep down inside we hide from this reality, until it’s too late. Until we are reminded of our mortality again.

Introspection

We are all here to play a much bigger role than we are currently aware of. We’re given the opportunity to laugh and play like children at the park but ultimately; we incarnated for a purpose. We all came to leave our mark some way, shape or form. At the end of the day- it’s consciousness experiencing consciousness.

Death isn’t negative and death isn’t the end. Death is the homecoming, back to the source of creation. How one dies can be tragic, painful, ugly, disturbing, traumatizing, peaceful, loving, honorable and admirable, just like life itself. It is said one passes on in the same fashion, one has lived their life. If you live a peaceful life, you’ll have a peaceful passing. Sometimes some people have to leave earlier that expected and that’s simply because their job here on earth Is done. They accomplished their goal here on earth and it was simply time to go home.

 Life is a privilege

Love is the reward

It was always your choice
